Troopa and Jamie: what each does in your meetings
Jamie and Troopa both hear a meeting through your own computer. Both work with Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. Jamie is built for notes and privacy, with meetings hosted in Europe, and its desktop app answers your own questions while the meeting is going. Troopa is built to take part: anybody it can hear may say “Hi Troopa” and ask.

Asked by you, or by anybody in the call
Jamie is a note taker built around where your data goes. It records on your device, deletes the audio after transcription, writes an executive summary and a fuller one by topic, and says it keeps storage and processing in Europe. For a team whose first question is where the data goes, that is a strong answer.
Both answer while the meeting is going, and they differ in who asks. In Jamie’s desktop app, Sidekick lets the person using it ask about what is being said. With Troopa, anybody it can hear may say “Hi Troopa” and ask, and the answer appears on Troopa’s screen, which the whole call reads when you present it. Troopa also offers a UK region as well as the EU and the US, and runs on Ubuntu as well as Mac and Windows.
Where processing matters as much as storage, ask both of us for the list of companies that handle your meetings. Our answer today: Troopa stores meetings in the region you pick, and its notes and answers are written by an AI service in the United States.
